Just a friendly reminder that Regular Decision deadlines for most top universities fall between January 1-15. If you haven't started your supplements yet, now is the time to get moving.

Here are some key dates:

• January 1: Many Ivy League schools, Stanford, MIT
• January 2: Caltech, University of Chicago
• January 5: Georgetown, Emory
• January 15: Many state universities, Vanderbilt

Don't wait until the last minute. Technical issues, power outages, and internet problems are real. I recommend submitting at least 48 hours before the deadline.
